cZar at SGL summer slam! |

This weekend sees  cZar's 1.6 team attending the SGL summer slam lan in Birmingham, England.
The event is host to the UK ESWC finals and although we did not participate in the online qualifier, we are attending the SGL tournament being run alongside!
Due to roster issues we are going as a partially mixteam, although most players have played together previously. The lineup will be:

We've had no practice with this lineup due to 1 member dropping out at a late stage so we wont be expecting too much other than a frickin orserm weekend with beer and cs!

Today is celebrated the first day of the first phase of EFM Clanwar Cup, with 6 challenges in game.
The first  cZar.Fifa 2008 game, under the new fresh line-up, was a success since they defeated Team-Excello from 9 to 11.

SGL Pro Series : cZar.uk lose in a close match with coda |

Tonight cZar.uk played their second match of the SGL pro league season against a team we know well, coda.
There was a lot of hype going into this match, with 4 coda players having played with some of us in strOng~.
We weren't helped by punt's pc dieing this morning, meaning he was stuck using a laptop and block head models (not making excuses!).
After a convincing 9-6 CT lead and some early T rounds it was looking like we would take the match, but our lack of teamwork and some good awping gave them the win.

SGL Pro Series: cZar.UK win debut game! |

Earlier tonight cZar.uk made their debut in theSGL Proleague against the long standing team engine on mute.
Although only forming 2 days ago and being somewhat under prepared, we managed to come away with the victory!
A number of top site rushes and our inability to retake as CT lead to eom taking an early 9-6 lead. Although nuke is considered a CT map the few pcws what we've played together told us that the game was far from over. A strong T pistol and eco rounds put the score back to 9-9 with everything to play for. It was plain sailing from there as we easily picked up gun rounds ending with a 10-2 score, giving us a 16-11 win.

cZar in Enemydown action tonight! |

Tonight sees the end of cZar.uk's Enemydown Resurrection campaign. Following a loss to Team-Coolermaster we are left with a 3rd/4th playoff against the team Faction, formerly BHK.
This match has added importance as the 3rd placed clan earns £250 while the 4th placed goes away with nothing.
Sadly it looks like the Chinese superstar Spk has to attend his nans birthday party so he can't make it, therefore we'll be shipping in ex member and clan friendly guy spaNky.
The match format is best of 3, with both teams eliminating and then choosing their chosen map.

cZar.Fifa is growing slowly each time they strike in the well known and respected Electronic Sports League.
After losing with "devils" with some badluck, cZar.Fifa is now getting ready to strike in the next game vs "Lyra Gaming".
This teams promise dedication and evolution in the next months so get ready.
